I live by a lake with my husband, dog, cat, 6 chickens, garden/property in the beautiful Gatineau hills of Val des Monts Quebec. This is where I get my inspiration, it's all around me.

Having done many varied creative things in my life I have settled on pottery because it gathers up all that I have learned in one medium. Everyday there is something else to learn or create.

Pottery takes time and patience. From starting with your wet clay, slowing drying, then 24 hours in the kiln bisqueing it to prepare it for glazing. Then deciding how you want to glaze it and then another 24 hours in the kiln.

I recycle packaging materials from my friends and the packaging is not pretty but what is inside is and will arrive in one piece "smiles"
I pray to the kiln gods every time I put a load in, hoping that all comes out well.

I hope you get as much joy from them as I do creating them.
